Guildford Harbour Hotel

The Group purchased the former White Horse Hotel in the centre of Guildford in 2004, comprising at the time a run down 40 bedroom hotel, office block and public car park, in partnership with Marcol LLP.

The site was extensively rebuilt to a 183 bedroom hotel with a restaurant and spa. The management of the hotel was initially outsourced to Radisson Blu.

Harbour Hotels brought the property into its operational portfolio exclusively in early 2016. An affluent and strategically important location, the hotel benefits from a prime position and close proximity to the town centre.

Harbour Hotels undertook extensive refurbishment and invested around £3m on the ground floor to reposition the hotel offering during 2016.

Harbour Hotels has undertaken a programme of rebranding and expanding on its offerings: introducing its award-winning restaurant, The Jetty, along with HarBAR.

In addition, the Group has further enhanced the property with a new HarSPA with dedicated juice bar.
