Harbour Hotels Group acquired a second Salcombe property, the landmark Tides Reach Hotel located on the edge of the water at South Sands.

Nicolas James Group successfully obtained planning permission for the refurbishment and extension of the existing hotel including the erection of a new bedroom wing to form a 50 bedroom hotel, with a luxury HarSPA and Upper Deck Bar & a Lower Deck Beach Bar.

Additionally, Nicolas James Group obtained permission to refurbish part of the original building to create 10 apartments with associated car parking.

Nicolas James Group completed works to the hotel in July 2021 delivering a highly anticipated stylish new waterfront hotel and resort on South Sands Beach.
